ELECTRICAL DESIGNER - CHANDLER

Position Summary: Under direct supervision of a senior engineer.

Basic Duties:

• Provide electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment administration, building code compliance, cost estimating, feasibility studies.
• Support of procurement and construction activities.
• Perform site inspections and have direct interaction with clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years electrical engineering design experience is required.
• Candidate must have experience with electrical power distribution, sizing of electrical equipment and materials such as cable and conduit, motor control, lighting and grounding design.
• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, electrical and building codes, NEC, IEEE, NFPA and MS office.
• Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• EIP, PE
• Bilingual English / Spanish abilities
• Experience as a discipline lead for multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
