Position Summary: Responsible for leading the design of industrial/process plant work from PFD or P&ID’s. Develop specifications and procurement of large industrial equipment. Knowledge base to include design of complex material handling systems industrial chemical plant type design and general manufacturing facilities.

Basic Duties:

• Perform as a lead engineer on projects.
• Provide calculations and design mechanical equipment and fabrications which include conveyors, chutes, hoppers, bins, tanks, dust collections, and process and mechanical equipment.
• Specification, analysis and procurement of materials and mechanical/process equipment and the maintenance of equipment lists.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and departments to accomplish project goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years related engineering experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modeling and MS office.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D (Inventor, Revit).
• Candidates must be able to occasionally travel to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience as a discipline lead for multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
• Construction field experience.
